Mary Jane Landrieu
April 13,1940 - February 2, 2023
Bethlehem, PA- Mary Jane (nee Williams) Landrieu, 82, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ with loving family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Thomas K. and Laura (nee Klink) Williams, she was raised in Summit, NJ and then resided in New Providence, NJ, Basking Ridge, NJ, Bernardsville, NJ, and back to Basking Ridge before settling in Bethlehem PA.
Mary Jane was a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA with the Class of 1962. While at Bucknell University she majored in math with a minor in statistics, earning a bachelor’s of arts degree. Mary Jane was a member of several clubs including, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), and Northampton Community College Chorale. She sang in choirs and many churches throughout her lifetime and was elected president of the Homeowners Association Board at Traditions of America in Hanover, PA.
Mary Jane enjoyed playing bridge, doing word puzzles, making stained glass, making dollhouses for her granddaughters, doing needlepoint, and reading mystery novels. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pierre R. H. Landrieu on May 3, 2019; and a brother, Thomas Williams.
Mary Jane is survived by four loving children, Scott Landrieu and his wife Angela of Old Bridge, NJ, Eric Landrieu and his wife Deanna of Mount Laurel, NJ, Christopher Landrieu and his wife Jennifer of Branchburg, NJ, and Laura and her husband Brendan Naranjo of Long Valley, NJ. She will be deeply missed by her dear siblings, Anthony Williams, III and Bette McDermott; and nine cherished grandchildren, Wyatt Landrieu, Patrick Landrieu, William Landrieu, Ryan Landrieu, Emmett Naranjo, Melissa Landrieu, Monroe Naranjo, Perry Naranjo, and Jacob Landrieu.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Countryside Funeral Home, 724 Route 202 North, Three Bridges, NJ 08887 on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Jane’s name to the Community Visiting Nurse Association, 110 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876,
